UNTAMED COLLECTION | BRIDGES FAMILY - JOHNATHAN. STEPHANIE. CECILIA. SELAH.
I sat across the room from you, wine glass in hand listening to your story. We laughed, we cried, but I sat still - absolutely captivated with you and your life and how you live each moment with so much love and intention. Sylvia Plath once said, “I don't know what it is like to not have deep emotions. Even when I feel nothing, I feel it completely". I get that - we both do. I was talking to one of my friends last night that described this feeling so clearly, of course, because he is an author everything he says sounds beautiful. We talked about running across those rare individuals that light up your life. You can feel their goodness and have that cozy effect when they are in your presence. That person… is Stephanie Bridges. Devoted wife, hard working mother, and one hell of a mountain climber in a Bridgerton style gown. I don’t know why that surprised me. You have seen taller, more dangerous mountains that you’ve overcome. The ones that would bring anyone else to their knees, but not you love. You are the the epitome of “Keep Fabulous and Carry On” because you have done it all with style and grace. The way your kids know you’re there to run down the dark trails of life with them - that your sweet baby doesn’t look back because she knows that you and Johnathan are always there - that is love. Thank you for allowing me into your brain to bring forth my newest collection, UNTAMED. I hope you enjoy and thank you for supporting local art. -Varis
“Selah is found in the Hebrew Bible seventy-four times. Scholars believe that when it appears in the text, it is a direction to the reader to stop reading and be still for a moment, because the previous idea is important enough to consider deeply.”
